Chapter Two

After spending a week with me, in which we made love every night, Zeus finally left my island. He’d received three frantic messages from the other Olympians, and one quite furious dispatch from Hera, inquiring as to when he was coming back.

Before he left, I told him I would speak with the Furies on his behalf. I made no promises, however. I made certain he understood the Furies answered to no one, not even me. He said he understood and then, as an expression of gratitude for my help, invited me to come and live with him and the others on Mount Olympus. I told him I would think about it. I enjoyed my island, but sometimes it could be a bit lonely.

Once Zeus was gone, I commenced preparations to visit the Furies and present his proposal to them. The last time I’d seen the Furies, which was the night I invited them to my island, they caused quite the uproar. Not only did they have sex with all my servants, the maids and the lads, but they also coupled with every creature and beast they could get their hands on.

The Furies are as ferocious and formidable in bed as they are on the battlefield, and I know this from experience. I had sex with all three of them, at the same time, and the pleasure they visited upon my body with their lips and tongues, and their hands and claws, was indescribable. I’d never had so many orgasms. Only Eros had been able to top them when it came to pleasing me sexually.

I took only a small party of retainers with me. I honestly didn’t think I had a chance of convincing the Furies to join with Zeus. They didn’t care about the Olympians or the Titans for that matter. Though, I daresay, they’d probably enjoy the fighting. Perhaps that could be the carrot I’d present to them. Or, if nothing else, I could offer them my body in exchange for their allegiance to Zeus. At least I’d get some pleasure from that.

Soon after I’d left my island and was on my way to the Furies’ lair that the Titans waylaid me.

My servants were carrying me in my litter. I had drawn the curtains as the breeze had grown a bit cool. The rhythmic rocking of the litter had caused me to doze off. Suddenly, I was shaken awake by a great deal of shouting. My litter was abruptly dropped to the ground. Before I could move, the curtain was shoved aside and a dark-bearded face thrust itself in at me.

“Ah, so it is you, my lady. I’d dared not hope we’d have such luck as to find you off your island.”

“Crius,” I said. “What is the meaning of this?”

Crius was the second eldest of the Titans. He and his brother, Iapetus, were the worst of the lot. Crius was known as the Ram and Iapetus as the Piercer. Both were infamous for not only being the cruelest
